What was different about how Mohammed Fatah teaches compared to other teachers?

Lessons are taught entirely differently in that we are able to participate/engage in the lesson fully by using OneNote rather than just watching a teacher read off a powerpoint. Resources are prepared in advance which are clearly tailored to the course and allow us to understand the bigger picture more easily.

What was different about how Mohammed Fatah teaches compared to other teachers?

lessons were more structured and our questions were always answered clearly. we did exam questions with the teachers knowledge and support rather than just looking at the mark scheme.

What was different about how Mohammed Fatah teaches compared to other teachers?

Mohammed Fatah stood out from other teachers because of the effort he put into making sure we understood the material and were prepared for our exams. He explained complex concepts in a simple and clear way, which made it easier for us to grasp the subject. He also adapted to students needs by recording his classes for those who couldn’t attend and offering sessions during free lessons when needed. To support our learning even further, he created handouts and online quizzes that helped reinforce the material in a practical and engaging way. His teaching approach was both thoughtful and effective, helping us prepare for the exams.

What helped you learn best in Mohammed Fatah’s lessons?

The detailed explanations on how things actually work/why they do rather than just rote memorisation of facts. Understanding the theory behind something makes it easier to remember later on. Furthermore, the use of visual aids/diagrams when explaining is much more intuitive than linear notes.

What do you think was your biggest improvement in Chemistry this year?

I think my biggest improvement was in solving multi-step calculation questions, especially by learning how to lay out my working clearly and avoid common mistakes with units and significant figures.

What would you like other teachers to do more of like Mohammed Fatah's lessons?

I would like other teachers to make lessons more engaging by implementing example questions/work for us to complete as we learn rather than just listening to their initial explanations and being left to our own devices when it comes to answering past paper questions afterwards. Breaking down said questions and model answers such that we understand how to get there would also be helpful.

What would you like other teachers to do more of like Mohammed Fatah's lessons?

Explain little details that may seem irrelevant to teach and work through the topics together with us and break down the exam questions and the context behind it.

If you had to describe your experience in Chemistry this year with Mohammed Fatah in one sentence, what would it be?

The subject of chemistry has become much more approachable/less intimidating as complicated concepts are broken down and explained effectively.
